I just wanted to check in with everybody and say hello. I hope you are all as well as one can be in these unpredictable times. I want you to know that myself and my amazing team are doing well.
I also thought I would share with you how we at Gem Set Love are making it work, staying safe and doing our part to flatten the curve.
We have a commitment to each other as a team to keep safe and observe our structured protocol. We are lucky enough to have two floors in our shop so social distancing is pretty easy. We also alternate times and do a complete clean and disinfect between shifts.
We have, Lori, our most treasured clean freak on cleaning and boxing jewels as well as writing each of you personal notes and making sure your order is perfect. We have our organizational goddess of lists, Carley making sure everything runs perfectly. She has also been ruling Instagram and I personally have been loving it! Georgia and I are the web mistresses - me taking pictures in my hastily set up home studio and her getting jewels up on the website from the safety and comfort of her home. Alex is the amazing human that does all the remote technical stuff and actually makes the website run and look fabulous. He is so amazing! And our metal smiths pop in to size and create in their secluded aerie at the shop. There's a lot of group texting and face timing and phone calls but we're in the groove now and I am proud to say we are all busy and employed.
Thank you for making all of this possible. We aren't the only ones who have had to adjust to this new normal. Thank you for supporting our business and continuing to buy jewels from us. Thank you for not only observing but appreciating our no contact porch pick-ups. Thank you for the virtual appointments, the texts, the dm's, the chats on all the apps. Thank you for making it possible for everyone of us at GSL to still have a job. We are here for you, and because of you, and we are grateful.
