Antique Rolo and the Best Charm Hook

This terrific antique 19th century rolo chain has its original 9c tiny plaque on one link which not only tells me it's 9ct gold but English as well. I have married it to an extra special charm hook from the early 1800's with a safety catch, which I've never seen, and it swivels too! In keeping with the cool hooks theme I have added an 18k gold hand forged hook as the clasp. Wear it as it is or add your favorite bits & bobs. The ingredients in this necklace date from 1840-80. 9ct chain and charm hook and 18k clasp hook.

From the Married Chains Collection by Ancient Influences. All of the ingredients in this necklace are recycled and vintage. I love using vintage findings, and am thrilled by the discovery of just the right split ring or hook for a piece.

Details.....The chain is 18.25" long, the links are 4.8mm wide, and the big hook is 1.06" long.

Each item from this line of jewelry is unique and incorporates re-purposed vintage and antique pieces. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
