Silver & Turquoise Cuff with Romantic Flourish

Beautiful turquoise and sand cast silver cuff bracelet with a romantic flourish. The coin silver cuff curls around the wrist with a jaunty asymmetry. A bright blue turquoise nugget with dark webbed matrix sits in a hand cut bezel; the turquoise extends gracefully towards the back of the hand. The silver is sculpted with a subtle ridge and an unusually smooth shiny finish for the sand cast technique. There is a marvelously vital and sensual quality to this Navajo cuff. This piece is signed with a gothic letter "F," most likely for Navajo silversmith and stone setter Fannie Platero. Circa 1970.
