Versatile Gold Filled Foxtail Chain by Monet

A fun and versatile gold-filled chain signed Monet. The foxtail chain is a tight plait of woven links, great worn alone and perfect for displaying charms and pendants. It fastens with a spring ring clasp and bears a tiny tag marked "Monet." Circa 1950.

Brothers Michael and Jay Chernow created the Monet Jewelry line in 1929. In the early days of the Great Depression, their goal was to create affordable, high-end-looking pieces.
