This is a lovely example of the charming antique flower rings we source in London, each one has its own unique flair. Eleven tiny diamonds surround an intense blue sapphire in a halo of flower petals. The sapphire is bezel set, the diamonds are bead set and the scallop-edged top of the ring is embellished with crisp milgrain detail. The gems are set in a silver-platinum alloy top over a 16k rose gold body. The gallery is ornate and the shoulders of the ring are gracefully tapered. What a delightful and unusual engagement ring this piece would make. Circa 1920.
