This necklace is so Deco. Alternating panels of layered white metal and amber colored 3 dimensional Galalith pendants, make this as much a piece of art as a piece of jewelry. Likely a Jakob Bengal, these pieces were rarely signed. This piece predates 1939 when Galalith, was prohibited for use in the private sector because of WW2. This necklace was purchased along with several other pieces in an estate, all terrific examples of the European Deco movement.
Details....The necklace measures 18" long, the metal pieces measure 23.5mm x 17.3mm, and the triangles measure 28.5mm x 13.3mm x 5.5mm deep. It is in Good Vintage condition showing some wear thru the silver plating on the chain and a few teeny nicks.
