A fantastic and unusual example of Art Deco design. This ring features a domed sugarloaf carnelian in the most dramatic, tomato-red color. The stone sits in a sterling silver rectangle and is secured by the ring's spatula-shaped shoulders. The top of the ring is embellished with red and black enamel. The look of this piece is very Fahrner, very German, though it is not marked as such. What an interesting ring, a perfect collector's statement piece. Circa 1930.
Details.....Currently a size 8. This ring may be sized up no more than two sizes. It cannot be sized down. The decorative top of the ring measures 12.1mm by 21.8mm. The back of the band measures 2mm.
