Exuberant CQ&R Art Nouveau Lily Locket

An exuberant Art Nouveau locket embellished with a paste-studded lily flower. Repoussé metal work creates the bas-relief flower and foliage image within a frame of undulating Art Nouveau line work. Glittering white paste stones trace the lines of the frame while a single green stone sparkles at the lily's center. The round gold-filled locket has a mellow, glossy finish and a plain back. The interior is nice and clean, with two intact frames and a tight clasp. This enchanting piece hangs on a vintage gold-filled curb chain. Stamped "C Q & R" in a triangular cartouche for the Massachusetts company Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington. Perfect for Mother's Day. Circa 1900.

Details.....The chain is 18" long, and the locket measures 1.20" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
