A magical crescent moon with a spray of flowers is set with luscious flat topped garnets in this delightful little antique brooch. These garnets are set in jewelers brass, jewelers brass is also called garnet gold because of its popular use in the Bohemian garnet jewels of the era. This brooch is light and lacy, with a decadent Dark Sparkle. The Victorians loved the Dark Sparkle of garnets, and so do we. Circa 1880.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.44" by 0.78". In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear should be expected on all vintage and antique pieces; we consider it to be part of their charm.
