In the 19th Century, this popular style of ring was referred to as a "Cigar Band." Very thin and rather wide, the bands resemble the decorative paper bands that were placed around cigars. This gorgeous 14k rosy gold example has scalloped edges and panels heavily engraved with a variety of flourishes and patterns, with polished high points and stippled low points. Small flowers and sprigs feminize the design. Circa 1890.
Details.....This ring is a size 6.5. It cannot be sized. The band measures 7.5mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
