This may be one of the most remarkable Art Deco rings we have seen. A rectangular dome of deep, rich green glass sits clasped between highly decorative shoulders. The shoulders are shaped like two peacock feather fans and set with glittering marcasites. The piece is an amazing example of French Deco design, it reminds us of the Chrysler Building. This ring is hallmarked for France and is marked for 935 silver, a slightly higher silver content than sterling standard. Circa 1920-1930.
