An absolutely classic Mid Century emerald cut emerald and diamond engagement ring. The 1.14ct rectangular faceted emerald is flanked by dramatically tapered baguette diamonds. The fresh green color of this lovely gem is complimented by the crisp and icy platinum setting. An elegant four prong basket and canted cathedral shoulders give this ring a clean, architectural profile. The interior of the slim band is stamped "12457." Circa 1950.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3950.

Gem Details.....The emerald is an 1.14cts rectangular faceted cut, with M1 clarity and medium light, very slightly grayish, very slightly bluish green (vslbG 4/3) color. Two tapered baguette diamonds have a 0.32tcw, with VS2 clarity and H-I color.

Details.....Currently a size 6. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 16mm by 8.3mm and the band is 1.2mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
