This exquisite Austro-Hungarian brooch displays the luxurious opulence AH jewels are known for. Three rich, whisky-colored citrine gems are bezel set in 800 grade silver, lightly gilded in gold. The body of the brooch is decorated with flowers, seashells and curls of river pearls reminiscent of sea foam. The back of the brooch has a lovely rope detail. There is a trombone clasp for security. It is in very good condition for its age. Circa 1880.
