This stellar locket is a classic example of late Victorian styling. The round locket is mellow 10k yellow gold, with the naturally glossy finish that age brings. The front of the locket is embellished with a sparkling diamond set at the heart of an incised star burst. The eight-rayed star draws the eye to the diamond, bright like the North Star. An elegant monogram, "LGB" perhaps, is hand engraved on the back. The interior of the locket is clean and lovely, it retains both original frames. Circa 1900.
Details.....The locket measures 1.07" in diameter, 1.30" with bale. The modern 10k gold rope chain is 16" long. The piece weighs 7.19 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
