This English sterling silver medal fob bears the Manchester coat of arms: "Gules three Bendlets enhanced Or a Chief Argent thereon on Waves of the Sea a Ship under sail proper." The arms is depicted in red, yellow and aqua blue enamel on sterling silver. Engraved laurel leaves and a silver ring that reads "Manchester Union League" encircles the arms. The back of the piece is engraved: S.T.A.L.A.C. 1910-11 JMS CHIE.

The medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the years 1910-11. It is also signed with the maker's mark for Thomas Fattorini, a silversmith producing in Birmingham at the time. This colorful fob makes a lovely pendant, it will look great worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.
