This wonderful specimen of Edwardian Fabulousness is crisp and gorgeous, every detail intact and amazing. The 3 diamonds across the center are set in saw tooth edged squares and the sides feature swirling whiplash curves in a nod the the Art Nouveau movement. The ability to work Platinum into jewelry was relatively new in the first 10 years of the 20th century and Jewelers reveled in the metals ability to hold a beautiful design crisply. The hardness of Platinum meant that it could be intricately pierced and still be strong. When you look at this ring and see the designs and tiniest of details still as crisp as they were over 100 years ago it's no wonder Platinum entranced the Jewelry buyers of Edwardian Era. Circa 1905-10.
