This is another treasure from my personal collection, I have had this beauty for over a decade. I chose this ring for my collection for the diamonds, I am enthralled with unique cuts, the older the better! The gold tests for 15 to 16 karat, not unusual in an old piece. The ring dates to the middle 1800's but the 2 champagne color flat back table cut diamonds are much older. The center diamond is a sparkly white old mine cushion cut and is so perfect between the champagne stones, all of the diamonds are tab set which is perfect for their shapes. The band is hand crafted and has a wonderful triple groove detail, 3 stones 3 grooves, I like to think this was purposeful.
Details.....Currently a size 7.5, this ring comes with a free sizing. The ring measures 5.6mm x 12.5mm at the diamond set front, the back measures 2.3mm. This ring is in very good condition for its age. You should expect wear and a bit of quirkiness in all of your antique and vintage jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
