Lovely 15k Spinner Locket Fob

This wonderful object ticks so many boxes, it's a locket, it swivels, it has a family crest/seal, and it's 15k gold. A Carnelian carved in layers of white and orange features The Howland Family Crest: A Lion Passant stands atop a shield bearing a trio of Lions Rampant a ribbon runs below proclaiming the family name Howland. The other side holds a beautiful piece of Bloodstone. The locket spins, opens, and closes nicely. Circa 1870.

I have a love for fobs and try to always have a nice selection. They make wonderful pendants and layering pieces.

Details.....The fob locket measures 31.2mm x 34.1mm including the frame. In Good Antique condition for its age with some wear. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry; it is considered part of its charm.
