An elaborate Georgian pendant that is rich with so many wonderful details. The pendant has the overall shape of a petaled flower. Rose cut diamonds set in silver over 18k gold outline the arcing petal shape and frame eight natural pearls. The center of the pendant is a quatrefoil within a circle, embellished with cobalt blue enamel and set with more diamonds in silver. Cobalt blue enamel of this kind was extremely fashionable during the era. The piece includes a total of 49 diamonds. The pendant's bale is hinged, at one time the piece also included a brooch pin which has been removed at some point in its history. The enamel is slightly cracked. Circa 1820.
Details.....The pendant measures 0.97" across. In Very Good Antique Condition, with a small crack in the enamel. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
