Figure Eights Niello and Gold Married Chain by Ancient Influences

This is the loveliest niello chain I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The main chain is comprised of two styles of fancy links: silver figure eight links with niello stripes are paired with long oval silver links with niello stripes and gold figure eight interiors. Each fancy link is connected to the other by a gold ring. The secondary chain has open geometric silver links with niello enamel inlay. The chain is finished with a FACETED! yellow gold swivel hook and a striped silver niello bolt ring. You can clasp it a few different ways to adjust the length, and you can hang your bits & bobs from the hook, bolt or - slide the big ones right onto the chain. The ingredients in this necklace date from 1900-20. 800 silver and 9k to 14k gold.

From the Married Chains Collection by Ancient Influences. All of the ingredients in this necklace are recycled and vintage. I love using vintage findings, and am thrilled by the discovery of just the right split ring or hook for a piece.

Details.....The chain is 26" long and the links are 4.7mm and 4.3mm wide. The bolt ring is 11.5mm and the hook is 21mm.

Each item from this line of jewelry is unique and incorporates re-purposed vintage and antique pieces. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
