This romantic sterling silver English medal fob is shaped like a heart. This piece was made the year before England entered into World War I, and was gifted the year after the war ended. The heart-shaped medal is crowned by an ornate decorative bale. A domed shield of applied gold sits at the fob's center, on a field of delicately engraved floral sprigs. The back of the medal is hand engraved with the personal inscription "GCF to EL March 1919." This sweet fob will look so pretty worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.
The piece is hallmarked for Chester, sterling silver and the year 1914. It is also signed with the maker's mark TJS.
