This wee Cigar Band-style ring is made of gold sheet beautifully engraved with a garland of oak leaves. In the 19th century "Cigar Band" referred to a popular style of wide, thin, decorated bands. Tiny rings were also popular, they were often presented as Christening gifts. For safety's sake we don't recommend allowing small children to wear these rings, but they make great midi rings or charming pendants when threaded on a chain or ribbon. Circa 1880.
