A delightful harlequin necklace of 14k gold studded with amethyst, aquamarine, peridot, garnet and citrine gemstones, and anchored with a moody smoky quartz. The colorful gems are cut in a variety of shapes and set in sleek, open backed bezels, then linked at stations along a fine gold figaro chain. A larger, rectangular smoky quartz is the central pendant. The chain is finished with a spring ring clasp. Harlequin jewelry is characterized by each stone being a different color, so bright and cheerful. Circa 1980.
Details.....The necklace is 30" long and the smoky quartz measures 18.6mm by 13.4mm. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Some wear is to be expected in vintage and antique jewels, we consider it to be a part of their charm.
