From our sweet and wonderful collection of Victorian Mourning jewelry comes this Sentimental ring made from woven hair and gold and simply inscribed "My Husband".
In the Victorian period it was quite common to have a piece of Remembrance jewelry made when a loved one died. In this case a lock of the loved ones hair was woven and placed within a gold band, it is inscribed on the inside and I imagine it was worn with or in place of her wedding ring after her husband died. A wonderful piece for your collection.
