A rather grand Art Deco line bracelet set with baguettes of purple glass. Rectangular links of sterling silver filigree are set down the center with faceted glass gems. The effect is clean-lined and architectural, with lacy open work to lighten the mood. The integrated clasp is very cleverly engineered, with a safety chain for extra security. The inside of the clasp is stamped "Sterling" and "Simmons Pat Apld For." A beautiful and well made piece from a collectable manufacturer. Circa 1920.
Simmons Jewelry, founded in 1873 in Attleboro, Massachusetts by Robert Fitz Simmons, produced watch chains, eyeglass chains, key chains, bracelets and cane handles. This innovative company achieved many firsts in the jewelry industry. The company closed its doors in 1952.
Description.....The bracelet measures 7.5" long and 0.50" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it apart of the charm.
