A Grand Period stick pin converted into a pendant of delicate beauty. A beveled ring of ethereal pale blue agate sits in a round, closed-back frame of 14k gold. The edge of the frame is exquisitely engraved with a graceful scalloped pattern. A gold disc is inset in the agate, engraved, and enameled in black with a lotus flower motif. The center of the gold disc is set with a wee silvery pearl in a spoked bezel. An added jump ring bale suspends the piece from a 14k gold cable chain. Circa 1880.
Details.....The pendant measures .79" in diameter. The chain is 18" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
