Fabulous Czech Garnet & Silver Gilt Earrings

Decadent rose-cut garnets pave these fabulous Czech earrings. The drop is a bottom-heavy rhombus (I know that isn't a real shape, but you know what I mean) of silver gilt. A cutout center mirrors the shape of the drop. Rich red garnets cover the earrings, prong-set in open back settings. The drop hangs from decorative earring tops with a single square garnet bezel set on point. Silver gilt lever back ear wires are hallmarked for Czechoslovakia. These are really glamorous, with striking geometry and an irresistible Dark Sparkle. Circa 1950.

Details.....The earrings are 1.9" long, and the drops measure .73" by 1.21". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
