This enchanting Art Nouveau lavalier necklace reminds us of a stylized flower pot. The graceful 14k gold pendant is a light, openwork teardrop shape. A small, bright diamond is buttercup-set, forming the flower at the heart of graceful curving lines and curling leaves. A sweet natural pearl crowns the pendant, and a river pearl drops elegantly from its base. An articulated bale suspends the piece from a 14k gold rope chain. This romantic necklace would make a perfect bridal jewel. Circa 1900.
Details.....The pendant measures .64" by 1.57" with bale. The chain is 18" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
