Rose Cut Diamond Set Quincunx Ring in Platinum & 18k

A delicate and dainty late 19th Century ring with the architectural appeal of Gothic design. The slightly domed top of the piece is a ring of platinum, with a centered quincunx of open work platinum. The cardinal points of the quincunx are shaped like tiny lobed leaves, engraved with milgrain detail. Glittering rose cut diamonds are set at center and in each leaf, the overall effect is like sparkling silver lace. The platinum top is layered over an 18ct gold gallery, cathedral shoulders and a half round band. This lovely ring will make a splendid unconventional engagement ring. Circa 1890.

Details.....Currently a size 6.75. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 9.2mm in diameter and the band is 1.4mm wide.
