A darling Victorian crown brooch with a sylvan elven whimsy. The crown is formed of 18k yellow gold. Three points are each set with clusters of three pearls, alternating with four shorter points set with old mine-cut diamonds. A point on each side of the crown holds a single pearl. The circlet is set with smaller pearls and verdant garnets. The brooch fastens with a classic Victorian c-clasp and has a chatelaine hook where you can add a charm or locket. There is something very romantic about this one. Circa 1880.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.15" by .70" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
