A talismanic Italian pendant with an unusual milagro motif. The 800-grade silver depicts a cluster of common milagro symbols: bird, heart, flower, key, fish, and moon. The pendant finishes with a decorative engraved bale and hangs from a silver curb chain. The back of the pendant is marked "800 Italy." Circa 1960.
Milagros are small metal religious charms. The word milagro means miracle in Spanish. These charms are used in many ways and may be carried for protection and good luck.
