Wonderful Herringbone Size 10.5 Wedding Band by Woods

This is a lovely example of the wonderful patterned Art Deco bands made by J.R. Woods & Sons. The 18k white gold ring is engraved with a stylized herringbone pattern with a milgrain double border. Beveled edges give the band a crisp modern look. The interior of the band is marked "18k" and signed for Woods & Sons. An engraved white gold band in a man's size is a rare find. Circa 1920.

J. R. Wood & Sons was founded in 1850 in Trenton, New Jersey. The J. R. Wood & Sons' 1919 catalogue describes the company as "diamond cutters, wedding ring makers, and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

Details.....Currently a size 10.5. This ring may be sized down two sizes free of charge. It cannot be sized up. The band measures 3.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
