Interesting Art Moderne Diamond & Two-Tone Gold Ring

An Art Moderne diamond engagement ring in two-tone 14k gold, a lot of style is packed into this petite piece. A shining (approximate) 0.20ct old European cut diamond is set in a square head of white gold framed in yellow gold. The shoulders have an unusual architectural design, with bands of faceted white gold arching over sculpted yellow gold. A low gallery and curvaceous band complete the piece. Art Moderne developed out of 1920s Art Deco, accentuating Deco's architectural elements. It is a striking and dynamic style that creates very interesting jewelry. Circa 1930.

Details.....Currently a size 5.75. The ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 14.6mm by 6.6mm, and the band is 1.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition.
