Dramatic Diamond & Ruby Retro Ring in Gold & Platinum

The Retro design movement produced a fresh jewelry style. Inspired by the industrial forms seen during the Second World War, Retro jewelry has an aesthetic that is all its own. This dynamic ring is asymmetrical, rippling 14k gold fans out to one side of the piece while bands of gemstones curve over the other. A band of diamond-set platinum horizontally spans the top of the ring, and a larger diamond is offset in a sleek bezel. Rows of square-cut lab-created rubies are set in scrolling channels that flank the diamonds. This ring is so unusual; its dramatic lines and dazzling gems steal the show. Circa 1940.

Details... Currently a size 4.5. The top of the ring measures 18mm by 14.3mm, and the band is 3.3mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
