Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Marquise Ring

Sapphires are so hot right now. This elaborate Edwardian sapphire and diamond navette ring is quite unusual, with fascinating form and exquisite detail. The central sapphire is a surprisingly elongated marquise set in rimy engraved platinum. A spangled frame of rose-cut diamonds is broken by four horizontal sapphire baguettes. Crisp milgrain covers the top of the ring with a frosty twinkle. A romantic forget-me-not is engraved on each shoulder. A surprising low profile and a subtle knife-edge band with a bit of substance complete the piece.
