This English sapphire and diamond picture frame ring is a delight. A velvety-blue .77ct sapphire is prong-set within a frame of a dozen diamonds. The .25tcw of bright white diamonds sparkle in the scalloped platinum top of the ring. The gem-set platinum is layered over the 18ct gold gallery, with pinched shoulders and a slim band. An ideal engagement ring for a lover of colored gemstones. Circa 1950.
Details.....Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 9.5mm square, and the band is 1.6mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
