Gorgeous Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Halo Ring

Gaze into the bottomless depths of this stunning sapphire, the star of this gorgeous Edwardian halo ring. The moody blue oval sapphire weighs 1.17cts and is bezel set within a 1.20tcw entourage of bead set diamonds. The ring's gem-set top is a shallow platinum dome with a pretty open gallery of scalloped wire. Graceful cathedral shoulders, under gallery, and tapered band are crafted in 14k yellow gold. What a breathtaking engagement ring this piece would make. Circa 1910.

Gem Details... The oval faceted 1.17ct sapphire is eye-clean, with medium dark, very slightly grayish, violetish blue (vB 6/3) color. Ten early modern brilliant cut diamonds have a 1.20tcw, with VS1-SI1 clarity and G-H-I color range.

Details... Currently a size 5.25. The top of the ring measures 11.7mm by 14.4mm, and the band is 1.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
