An unusual ring, a light and airy Modernist setting of 18k yellow gold, set with a lab-created corundum with a delightful color change. The elongated rectangular gem flashes between a lilac and a periwinkle blue color. The gem is raised between pinched shoulders to allow maximum light to pass through the stone, maximizing the color change. The exterior of the slender band is hallmarked for Russia. Circa 1960.
Details.....The ring is currently a size 9.25. The ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 6mm by 14.4mm, and the band is 1.6mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
