A pair of sweet, sinuous snakes twine around your finger to nuzzle each other. Snakes were a popular motif for love tokens in the 19th and early 20th Centuries. This handsome band embodies the romantic symbolism perfectly: the connection and contentment between two beings. Sculpted in buttery 18ct gold, with soft curves emphasized by the glossy metal. A sparkling old mine-cut diamond is set in each snake's forehead. The ring is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, 18ct gold, and the years 1903 to 1904.
Details..... Currently a size 9.75. The top of the ring tapers from 10.1mm wide to a 4.3mm wide band. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of its charm.
