A great deal of drama is packed into this little Art Moderne diamond engagement ring. Two-tone 14k and 18k gold give the design depth and vitality. A shining center diamond is set in a fancy square white gold head flanked by pierced and engraved two-tone gold shoulders. A softly sculpted yellow gold band tapers into a slim shank. Art Moderne developed out of 1930s Art Deco, accentuating Deco's architectural elements. It is a compelling style that creates very interesting jewelry. Circa 1930.
