Engraved Leaves & Shield 9ct Gold Victorian Locket

A gorgeous Victorian 9ct gold locket engraved with a lush foliate design. The front of the oval locket bears a shield engraved on a field of curling leaves. A saucy single flower blooms in the upper corner. The shield is blank, ideal for engraving a personal inscription. The back of the locket is engraved with a whorl of acanthus leaves. The interior of the locket is clean, with no frames. A jump ring has been added to the bale. This wonderful locket is rich with lovely detail, but with no personal photos or monograms, it is ready for you to make your own. Circa 1890.

Details.....The locket measures .65" by .90". The modern 10k gold rope chain is 18" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
