A regal fleur-de-lis brooch set with opulent diamonds and pearls. The fleur-de-lis is a stylized representation of a lily flower and a symbol of the French nobility. 18k gold has been sculpted with graceful organic lines and engraved with fine detail. Graduated pearls are set in the petals, perfectly delineating their voluptuous curves. A band of glittering rose-cut diamonds girds the flower, adding sparkle to the pearls' glossy glow. The back has a C-clasp closure and a chatelaine hook for suspending a tiny watch or locket. Circa 1880.
Details.....The brooch measures .77" by 1.09". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
