Fascinating Vamp's Arsenic Green Beaded Sautoir

It's summertime, and The Fascinating Vamp is wearing her favorite arsenic-green beaded sautoir necklace. The art glass beads are wire-linked and adorned with fancy brass bead caps. Cylindrical spacers of sparkling white rhinestones alternate with the opaque, organically-textured beads. The sautoir is finished with a scandalous beaded tassel that shimmies when she shakes. An outrageous statement necklace that is totally giving Endora vibes. That's why The Vamp loves it; she pairs it with her best gold lamé bathing costume. Circa 1960.

"Sautoir" is the French word for a long necklace that ends in a tassel or other ornament.

Details.....The necklace is 25" long with a 3" tassel. The beads range from 8.5mm to 13.1mm in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
