A dramatic Modernist necklace featuring an organically-shaped piece of natural amber wrapped in tendrils of sterling silver. The decorative centerpiece's design resembles a stylized blossoming bud. This centerpiece is displayed on an unusual chain of twisted silver links. The amber is richly colored with interesting inclusions, petrified pollen, and fragments of vegetation. This fascinating necklace has the feel of a studio piece; however, this beauty is unsigned. Circa 1970.
Details.....The necklace is 23" long, and the decorative centerpiece measures 3.9" by 1.45". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
