An elaborate late Victorian medal fob made in Birmingham, England. The openwork sterling silver medal is wedding cake-ornate with curling leaves, flourishes, and engraving. A rosy gold shield is applied to the front of the fob. The medal's back bears no personal inscriptions; it's ready to be engraved with anything you like. This fob will look a treat worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The back of the medal bears hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling silver, and the year 1899. It bears the maker's mark "W.H.H." for Birmingham silver smith William Hair Haseler.

Details.....The medal measures 1.1" by 1.53". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
