Etruscan Revival Gold Filigree & Pearl Pendant

A delightful little Victorian pendant in the Etruscan Revival style. The 14k gold pendant is a teardrop covered in filigree and granulation. A tiny natural pearl nestles inside the body of the drop. Delicately detailed, the ornate gold work and lucent pearl make a decadent pairing. The drop has a flat back, so it sits perfectly on the breastbone. This pendant is a conversion jewel, re-purposed from a stick pin into a pendant with a jump ring added for versatility. A gorgeously wrought piece, this would make a wonderful gift for your favorite June baby. Circa 1890.

Details.....The pendant measures 0.28" by 0.65". The modern recycled 14k gold rope chain is 16" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
