This Mid Century necklace recalls a 19th Century aesthetic. A sterling silver orb pendant hangs on a fancy sterling silver chain. The orb is studded with two tiny turquoise cabochons and is suspended from the chain by two figure "8" links and a bale. Twisted and engraved figure "8" links form the pretty chain, which matches the pendant and looks great worn alone. This interesting necklace has the feel of a studio piece, and the pendant bears what appears to be an illegible maker's mark. Circa 1960.
Details.....The chain is 21" long and 5mm wide. The pendant measures 0.80" by 0.75" wide and 1.61" long with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
