This early 20th-century 18k gold locket is a little charmer. The tiny round locket is embellished front and back with precise engraving that reminds us of a Spirograph pattern or the heart of a sunflower. A tiny monogram is engraved at the center of the pattern; it's difficult to read, but it may say "DVD." The locket's interior displays a tress of hair preserved under glass and the personal inscription "Aug. 16th 1902." So sweet, this would make a charming Mother's Day gift. Circa 1840.
Details.....The locket measures .50" in diameter. The modern 14k gold rope chain is 18" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
