A captivating cornflower blue sapphire is set in this classic 1930s platinum ring. The .50ct gem sits in a square head within a nimbus of sparkling little diamonds. Delicate openwork round and teardrop shapes glitter with milgrain, icy and elegant. Buckle motif shoulders taper into the dainty band. With an east/west orientation and a very low profile, this ring has those practical, wearable features we love in 1930s Art Deco engagement rings.
Details.....Currently a size 5.5. The top of the ring measures 14mm by 8.8mm, and the band is .8mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
