Dynamic SWANK Cufflink & Tie Bar Set in Original Box

This gold-tone and red glass cufflink and tie bar set is a stunner from the perennial favorite manufacturer of men's accessories, Swank. The links have a dynamic design, engraved ovals ringed in polished rays. The tie bar also combines engraved texture with polished high points. Bright red sugar loaf "gems" are set in each piece. The cufflinks are post and toggle style. Presented in a blue leatherette case, painted with gold fleur de lis, the interior reads, "Men Prefer SWANK." Who can argue with that? This set is dynamite, and the handsome original box makes it ideal for gifting. Circa 1960.

Samuel Stone and Maurice Baer founded the Attleboro Manufacturing Company in the USA in 1897. By 1927, they were using the name Swank. They began making cufflinks in 1918, and these were so successful they stopped making women's jewelry to focus entirely on men's accessories until the present day.
